The Hajduk Split stadium tour

Hajduk runs its own tour of Poljud: the trophy room, the press room, the VIP lounge and a walk down to the pitch. It is short and cheap, and it is the only way inside without a match ticket.

Poljud is a working stadium, not a museum. Hajduk Split plays its home games here, training sessions shape the week, and the club fits visitors into the gaps. The tour you book on GetYourGuide is sold by HNK Hajduk itself, and the guide is a club employee.

Here is what the tour covers, what it costs in 2026, where it starts and the few people who should spend their 30 to 45 minutes somewhere else.

The quick answer

The tour costs from $13 per person on GetYourGuide in 2026 and lasts 30 to 45 minutes (guests report about 30). A club guide leads it in English, Italian or Croatian, through the trophy room, the press room, the VIP lounge and down to the pitch side. It starts at a flag 5 metres from the Fan shop entrance at the stadium. Skip it if you need German, use a wheelchair or only care about match atmosphere.

What do you see on the Hajduk Split stadium tour?

The trophy room, a hallway of old player photos, the press room, the VIP lounge and the edge of the pitch, with the club's story told along the way.

  • The founding story: students from Split dreamed up the club in a Prague pub in 1911, then founded it at home on 13 February. Old photos of the founders and early matches start the tour.
  • The trophy room: over 1,500 items. The club counted 1,531 exhibits and 200 photos in its own 2016 description. The listing names the original Yugoslav Cup trophy and a gift from Manchester United after a 1980 friendly.
  • The press room: sit at the crest desk where coaches face the media, and take the photo.
  • The VIP lounge and a short talk on the stadium and its architect, Boris Magaš.
  • The pitch side: you walk down close to the grass for photos under the shell roof.

The listing also names the dressing rooms. On an older listing of the same tour several guests said they did not see them, so treat that part as a bonus.

How much does the Poljud stadium tour cost?

From $13 per person on GetYourGuide in 2026, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Hajduk doesn't publish a tour price on its own site: the club's price-list page says there are no published price lists right now. Prices you may find elsewhere in kuna come from the 2016 club article (35 HRK for adults) and are out of date, since Croatia moved to the euro in 2023.

Booking online also lets you reserve now and pay later, which helps when a match date shifts and you need to move the tour.

How long is the Poljud stadium tour, and in which languages?

30 to 45 minutes, with a live guide in English, Italian or Croatian. There is no German tour.

Guests report about 30 minutes; one wrote "The live guide is great! I recommend it; the tour lasts about 30 minutes". A German guest gave five stars anyway and added: "Unfortunately, it's not in German. But otherwise informative for people who are interested in football and stadiums."

Pick the language at checkout, when you choose the start time.

Where does the Poljud stadium tour start?

At a flag about 5 metres from the entrance to the Hajduk Fan shop, on the lower level of the stadium by the club store.

The address is 8. Mediteranskih igara 2, on the north side of the Split peninsula. From the Riva it is under 2 km, roughly 25 minutes on foot; city buses stop nearby, and a taxi takes a few minutes. Routes and the parking question are in getting to Poljud.

Arrive 10 minutes early. Poljud is big, the Fan shop sits low under the stands, and you don't want to spend your slot walking round the outside of the bowl.

When does the Poljud stadium tour run?

Start times appear at checkout for each date. The club publishes no fixed hours, and times move around matches and training.

In 2016 the club ran tours every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 19:00. That timetable no longer appears on the club's visit page, and the live slots on GetYourGuide are the ones that count. On match days expect fewer or no tours, and the pitch side may be closed when the groundstaff are working.

Book a morning slot on a day without a home game. Check the fixtures first: the match-day guide explains where.

Lock in a slot on a quiet day and keep it flexible: free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Who should skip the Hajduk stadium tour?

German speakers, wheelchair users and anyone who mainly wants match atmosphere.

  • German speakers: the guide speaks English, Italian or Croatian only.
  • Wheelchair users: the listing says the tour is not suitable for wheelchairs.
  • Atmosphere hunters: an empty bowl is quiet. If you want the noise of the Torcida, you need a match ticket, which GetYourGuide doesn't sell.
  • Anyone set on the dressing rooms: they are on the list, but not every group gets in.

Is the Hajduk stadium tour worth it?

Yes, for anyone with an interest in football or Split's 20th century: $13 buys an hour of stories you won't get on any Old Town walk.

Guests back that up. Kevin, from the UK, called it "Very informative and engaging tour of the trophy room, the pitch area, and the press room". Ryan, travelling with children: "Very good, kids love football so was awesome for them". The rating sits at 4.5 from 79 reviews; the complaints we read are about language and areas that were closed on the day.

The stadium itself adds a reason to go now. A March 2026 study for the city recommends demolishing Poljud and building a new one on the site; nothing is decided. The new-stadium plan post follows the debate.
