Hajduk's 2026-27 season at Poljud

Hajduk are top of the league in late October and back in a European group stage. Here are the home games left at Poljud, how tickets work for visitors and how to fit in the stadium tour.

Hajduk have not won the Croatian league since 2004-05, and every autumn Split talks itself into believing this is the year. In 2026-27 the talk has some numbers behind it: first place after ten rounds, a 2-1 home win over Dinamo, and two wins out of two in the UEFA Conference League.

This post covers the fixtures the league and UEFA have published as of 26 October 2026, what to expect at the ticket office, and how to see the stadium itself on a day without a match.

The quick answer

Hajduk lead the SuperSport HNL with 22 points from 10 games, three clear of Dinamo, who have a game in hand. Home league games at Poljud remain on 31 October, 28 November and 12 December before the winter break, then nine more from late January to mid May, including the Dinamo derby listed for 20 March 2027. Europe adds Sint-Truiden on 26 November (behind closed doors after a UEFA penalty) and Nordsjælland on 10 December. Tickets are sold by the club on hajduk.ulaznice.hr, not on GetYourGuide, and members buy first.

Where do Hajduk stand in the 2026-27 HNL?

First. Going into round 11, Hajduk had 22 points from 10 games, three ahead of Dinamo, who had played one game fewer.

The start was shaky: a 2-1 defeat at Varaždin on the opening weekend and a 3-0 loss at Rijeka in September. Since then the home form has done the work. Poljud has seen wins over Osijek (4-0), Lokomotiva, Slaven Belupo, Dinamo and Varaždin, and only Istra 1961 have left with a point. Gonzalo García is still the coach, a year after finishing second, 18 points behind Dinamo.

The table below is the league's own, from hnl.hr, before Istra v Hajduk on the evening of 26 October. Ten clubs play each other four times over 36 rounds, so there is a long way to go.

Which Hajduk home games are left before the winter break?

Three league games and two European nights: Gorica on 31 October, Sint-Truiden on 26 November (no fans), Rudeš on 28 November, Nordsjælland on 10 December and Rijeka on 12 December.

League dates come from the HNL fixture list and European dates from UEFA. Only the Gorica game has a confirmed kick-off, 15:00. The later league rounds carry a Saturday date and no time, and the league often moves games to Friday or Sunday for television, so don't book a one-night trip around a listed date until the kick-off is published, usually a few weeks out.

After round 18, away at Maksimir on 19 December, the calendar is empty until 23 January. That gap is the winter break in practice, even though the league does not label it.

When is the next Dinamo derby at Poljud?

The league lists Hajduk v Dinamo at Poljud for round 27, dated 20 March 2027. The October derby at Poljud ended 2-1 to Hajduk.

The Vječni derbi (Eternal derby) is the one game a year that every visitor asks about, and the hardest to get into. For the May 2025 derby only active members could buy until match day, and about 34,000 tickets went, a sell-out, as Index.hr reported. Expect the same in March.

The other two derbies of the season are in Zagreb, at Maksimir on 19 December 2026 and on the final day, 22 May 2027. Here is the full spring list of home dates as published; all of them are Saturday placeholders until the league fixes kick-off times.

Is Hajduk playing in Europe in 2026-27?

Yes, in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League. Hajduk beat Ajax 2-1 at Poljud and won 1-0 at Thun.

The six-game league phase runs to 17 December. After the trips to Lincoln Red Imps on 5 November, the home games are Sint-Truiden on 26 November and Nordsjælland on 10 December, then the last match is away at Midtjylland. Under UEFA's format the top eight go straight to the last 16, and teams from 9th to 24th play a two-legged play-off in February, which could bring one more European night to Poljud.

There is a catch for the Sint-Truiden game. After flares stopped play during the Ajax match, UEFA fined Hajduk €80,000 and ordered the whole stadium closed for that game, with a suspended second closure if it happens again, as the club confirmed. No tickets will be sold for 26 November. Don't plan a trip around it.

How do visitors buy Hajduk tickets at Poljud?

Through the club: online at hajduk.ulaznice.hr, at Hajduk fan shops, or at stadium kiosks on match day if any are left. Members get first pick.

Match tickets are not sold on GetYourGuide or any tour site. For the October home game against Varaždin, the club's sale notice set the pattern: sales opened online at hajduk.ulaznice.hr five days before, only active members could buy until match day, the north stand (Sjever, Torcida's end) was members-only, and anything left went on free sale on the day. Fan shops on the Riva, in the Joker centre and at Mall of Split sell too.

Joining is the simple fix. A 2026 membership costs €20 for adults and €10 for under-18s and over-65s, and the club says it gives you purchase rights straight away. Membership runs by calendar year, and 2027 sales had not opened as of 26 October. The club's price list page is empty, so prices show at checkout. One rule surprises visitors: adult tickets in the family stand and the Jug sector need at least one child's ticket bought with them.

More detail on stands and match day is in our Hajduk tickets guide.

StepWhat to do
1Watch hajduk.hr for the "U prodaji ulaznice" notice, a few days before the game
2Join online (€20 adult) if you want a seat before match day
3Buy on hajduk.ulaznice.hr with your membership number and date of birth
4Without membership: try free sale on match day, online or at the kiosks
5Skip the North stand (Torcida's end) unless you plan to stand and sing

Can you do the Poljud stadium tour and a match on the same trip?

Yes, but do the tour on a different day. Tour times move around matches and training, and start times are shown at checkout.

Poljud is a working stadium. On match days the tour route through the press room and down to the pitch is busy with the people who actually run the game, and the club does not publish match-day tour rules. A day before or after a home game works best: you get the trophy room and an empty bowl, then the noise the next night.

If you have half a day, the Old Town bike tour rides through Sustipan and Marjan and goes inside Poljud on a guided visit before ending with craft beer. Its start times shift with Hajduk's training and matches too, so check your date before you book anything else. For the walk or bus from the Old Town, see how to get to Poljud.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy Hajduk match tickets on GetYourGuide?

No. Match tickets are sold only by the club, online at hajduk.ulaznice.hr, in Hajduk fan shops and at the stadium on match day. GetYourGuide sells the stadium tour, not match tickets.

Do I need to be a Hajduk member to buy a ticket?

Not always. Members get priority until match day, then unsold tickets go on free sale. For the Dinamo derby you should expect to need a membership, which costs €20 for adults in 2026.

When is the Hajduk v Dinamo derby at Poljud in 2027?

The HNL fixture list dates it 20 March 2027 (round 27). The exact day and kick-off are set closer to the time.

Is the Hajduk v Sint-Truiden game open to fans?

No. UEFA ordered the whole stadium closed for that Conference League game on 26 November 2026 after flares stopped play against Ajax.
